The Shanghai Daily (my local paper) has been running a good set of editorials about the flaws in the Chinese education system, many of which parallel the U.S. America has lost sight of the value of free time, free thought, the humanities, and professors who are not funded and paid for by special interests. Many in China see these issues. Will we Americans do so?
